The August theme is a twist on the regular picture poem theme.  It is often said that a picture speaks a thousand words and there are many artists who have painted amazing pictures.  The challenge for August is to write a poem based on a famous painting.  We have provided a Claude Monet painting, the 'Water Lilies', all you have to do is provide the words... Good luck!
