The night before Christmas

It was the night before Christmas
And... Jimmy-dog, snuggled in his bed
Brian in his jammies, and me in my nighty
Were all waiting, for Ole Saint Nick

Brian sipping... his 80 proof eggnog
And me, drinking my wine
We're both nice and cozy, sitting on the couch
Watching... Mr Grinch, the ole Grouch

The movie now over
So we climbed into bed
Brian took off his jamies
Then... I slipped off my nighty

In the wee, wee hours
I was startled, by a noise
I jumped out of bed
And... put my hands to my head

I went to the window
Then looked at the bed
I knew right then...
It was Brian, standing on the shed

I opened the window
(Oh, how the snow flakes were so big)
Then remembered Brian
Still standing on the shed

As he stands by his sled
With a blow up reindeer
He's screaming... "Ho-Ho-Ho"
And... he's ringing a bell

Jimmy-dog, now up, and out of his bed
He jumped to the window
And heard his master yell out... "Ho-Ho-Ho"
Then waves and says..."Merry Christmas" to you
And have a good night!

Brian, then, jumped off the shed
Then I heard him say...
"Damn, I wished I  had drank Pepsi, instead!"
