If... I can’t see in the darkness,
would you guide me to the bench and sit with me?

If... I look up to the heavens, and see a patch of blue,
will you be looking down at me?

If... I walk to the end of the rainbow, after a thunder storm,
would it be like... the lights of heaven, as life enters through?

If... we could turn the clocks back, wouldn’t it be great...
to see our soldier’s home, and not in Iraq.

If... there were no Adam and Eve, would there be just...
Adam and Steve and Anna and Eve?

If... all the snow flakes are all the same size,
what about the tear drops... falling from my eyes?

If... I had many friends, and you had none,
I’d let you be mine... to the very end.

If... God gave me eyes to see, and a mouth to speak, a heart to love...
