As I hibernate

As I hibernate... like the bears in their caves
I ache, to the tip of my head to my knees
The waste baskets full, with wads of kleenix, piled high
I think... my temp, is one hundred and five

We moved to Florida, to get away from the cold
We were told... that's where all the old people go
We then went to Wal-marts to buy warm clothes
But... had to pay cash, cause I left the credit cards home

Now Christmas has passed, and the bills piled high
The checks I receive, I have to say... goodbye
I took out the scissors, and cut up those... damn credit cards
Then I ran outside, and...buried them in the yard

January and February, are the wintery months
So...we’ll just sit here and hibernate, till the weather is nice
For the next ten months, we’ll save and save
Then... we’ll be right back, where we started from
