Fragranced maiden

Oh fragranced maiden sweet,
where are you now?
Wandering alone or sat
in arms of love like stone?
Does your heart now pine
for a man whose spirit is bold?

Your tender face
does shine through dreams,
at night it chases me far along
the colours hiding under the black
and the shades above the light.

Oh fragranced maiden sweet,
I pine for you to touch my face
with your hands so soft,
I wait for your arrival
in eager anticipation
and think of your face outlining
the time I find beside my steps.

Oh fragranced maiden sweet,
do you dream of me?
Oh fragranced maiden sweet,
my love is held here true.
