Three little words
I wished you'd
say -
They were all I
longed to hear!
Since first we met
Those three words
You just would not
admit my dear!
For years and
years
We were at odds -
You just wouldn't
speak your mind.
Those three little
words
I began to think
Were only spoke by
Womankind!!
But finally now
Life has wore you
down
And you must say
them every night!
So now you know
Why I feel so smug
When you tell me
"YOU WERE RIGHT!!"
