Spring cleaning

End of Winter - start of Spring,
Birds returning start to sing!

Gather up your feather duster,
And all the strength that you can muster.

Beat the dust out of the mat,
Tell those cobwebs "You must scat!"

Straighten pictures of the walls,
Scrub the tiles out in the halls.

Add fresh paint to all your doors,
Remove the clutter from the floors!

Wax and polish table tops,
Change the heads on worn mops.

Repair and dye those tired drapes,
Throw out all your broken tapes!

Clean and polish window panes,
Try removing stubborn stains!

Dispose of rubbish that you hoard
Then clear the place where it was stored!

Spray some freshener in the air -
No more sign of wear and tear!

Now that all is spik and span -
Concentrate on this year's tan!!
