She thinks she is

She thinks she is a beauty complete with shiny golden hair,
Her man earns lots of lovely money for her to spend without a care.

She's supposed to be a housewife taking care of kids and home -
But her main pre-occupation is spending time and money - on "me and me alone!"

Designer labels are a 'must' when she buys from any store -
'Cos she's got too good a figure to buy 'that common muck no more!'

Her body's like a temple just for her and her alone  -
Daily she does worship it watching every inch and stone!

Once a week there is the visit to the local Fitness Suite
Where she tones up every muscle on this figure Oh! so petite!

Then next door to the Parlour to top up her lovely tan
Then tomorrow it's the Salon where they manicure each pretty hand!

There's a treatment due twice monthly to shave away all her body hair,
Then off to get the feet scraped to enhance the designer sandals that she'll wear!

Next she sends for all the rubbish that only 'toffs' they can afford,
From all those glossy magazines which she buys to stop from getting bored!

Then off to Church each Sunday morn all dressed with money's best -
Complete with false fingernails, and bra filled with plastic chicken fillet breasts!

No-one admires her false beauty and her man's unhappy - very ill at ease -
He knows folks they are talking about his woman who likes to spend and tease!

With her face all caked in make-up  - she is almost a work of art!
But the overall effect says "high-maintenance piece of tart!!"

She has been waxed and she's been scraped, she's been dyed and she's been tanned,
She's been enhanced, uplifted and massaged  - the weekly cost of all of this must easily cost a grand!

But is she happy that's the question?  Well - we know that she is not.
Because she's unhappy and she's lonely and quite discontent with all her lot.

But if she took that time and money and spent it all on someone else
She would find it more rewarding - but no - she prefers to waste it on herself!

And you know - she'd really be a beauty if she'd only take the chance -
And be as God intended and realise just how much her smile it can enhance!!
