Have we not all been given
One great big beating heart
Which gives us room for feelings
For others to impart?
These feelings they are plentiful
Like joy or fear or pride
Sorrow, shame, love or hate -
This tiny little organ creates them all inside.
Have we not all been given
One great big open mind
To let us sort these feelings
And share them with Mankind?
Have we not all been given
The gift to speak quite plain
And share our thoughts with others
So we could help to ease their pain?
Have we not been given freedom
In what we all say or do -
Or do you think the only words of wisdom
Are those that come from you?
We've all been given different ways
To help comfort or entertain -
