Friday 13th

Fingers crossed, Friday 13th
Should be my lucky day  -
I'm going to avoid the bad things
That will probably come my way.
I've got a lucky Leprechaun
Hanging here upon my chain;
I've turned my lucky sixpence
Over and over again.
I'll flick salt across my shoulder
If some gets spilt today
Then touch a piece of wood
To help keep bad luck at bay!
A new and shiny horseshoe
Hangs proud above my door  -
There's no hats upon the table
Whilst all shoes stay on the floor!
My black and lucky pussycat
Should bring good luck to me
Whilst I'll give a big salute
To any magpies that I see.
I won't walk beneath a ladder
Or on the cracks upon the street,
I'll avoid crossing any knives
When I sit down to eat.
Since my clothes were inside out
When I got dressed today
I won't even to try and change them  -
I'll just let them stay this way.
Armed with my lucky rabbit's foot
I can assert a certain stance
Because I'm feeling pretty confident
In my lucky underpants!!!
