Decisions

It is time to make decisions about my life ahead
And try to sort out details from all the info I have read.
I need to know if I am qualified when my exam results come thro'
So I can narrow down the list of things that I would like to do!

The months I've spent revising and the tears that I have shed
I hope have all been worth it when this letter I have read!
The postman came this morning with my letter in his sack
And I felt so flipping nervous that I nearly gave it back!

So, I've made the big decision to open it and see
If I've been given good news with the grades A, B or C!
I open up the envelope and read the letter there inside -
I get what I was hoping for and my heart just swells with pride!!

Now I'm on my way to college to work on my degree
And when I'm fully qualified I'd love the world to see
How I appreciate those years of learning by teaching someone new
How to learn and make decisions and to make their dreams come true!
