"Hello" I say "How are you - come in and take a seat,
You know you're very welcome" I say to customers I greet.
I've opened up my nice new home as a little B & B
And hope it makes a fortune for my family and me.
I did all the research and all the courses
too
So I'd provide a service that was brilliant through and through.
All of my certificates are hanging on the wall
And they are there to greet you when you come into the hall.
Now I am there to guide you up the stairs
and to your room
And if you want a cuppa - then it will be ready soon.
I provide you with your towels and your little bar of soap
And if you have any problems - then I am there to cope!
And I have lots of leaflets to show you
where to go
And the numbers for the taxis that will drive you to and fro.
There's a list of all amenities from the Park or to the Pub
So you can shop, golf or fish or get some decent grub!
I'll wait up late to greet you when you come
back late at night
And while you're making up excuses I say "No - that is quite alright!"
And when you toddle off to bed to get all the sleep you need
I'll tip-toe to the kitchen to prepare your kitchen feed!
Once you've had your cereals, your fry-up
and your tea
I wait for you to leave the house so there'll be some peace for me.
But first you need directions to where you want to go
And I do my best to tell you all the things I think you need to know!
I smile and wave when you drive off to
someplace nice and new
Then I rush to go and change the beds and clean the bathroom after you!
I clear up all the dishes and I mop the kitchen floor,
And when I've got the laundry done - I go and lock the door!
Now - I opened up my nice new home as
a little B & B
Because I thought it would make a fortune for my family and me,
Yet I think that I will close it now tho it's not 'cos I am bored -
It's 'cos I get more time AND money being a cleaner down the road!! |
